Here's a Travel Tip we've enjoyed and we think you'll like it too!

Carlsbad Caverns National Park is a national park of the United States in the Guadalupe Mountains of southeastern New Mexico. An estimated 250 million years ago, the area surrounding Carlsbad Caverns National Park served as the coastline for an inland sea. The primary attraction of the park is the show cave Carlsbad Cavern. Visitors can hike in on their own via the natural entrance or take an elevator from the visitor center.
The park contains more than 119 limestone caves that are outstanding in the profusion, diversity, and beauty of their formations.
The park provides an inexpensive, family friendly unique look at the world around us.
The massive flight of bats each evening as they leave the caves to feed on insects at sunset during mid-May through mid- October is not to be missed.  New Mexico is truly the "Land of Enchantment" with plenty of worthwhile
attractions to plan your road trip around.
